TRANSFER INSTRUCTIONS

SUBLIMATION TRANSFER INFORMATION:

  • We use the highest quality sublimation printers, inks, and paper. They have been tested and proven to provide the best quality prints onto sublimation materials when applied properly.
  • Sublimation transfers use a specific type of ink that is fused into the fabric of your polyester material when heat pressed.
  • Sublimation is NOT vinyl therefor they will not have a texture to the image, peel or crack.
  • Sublimation transfers MUST be pressed onto materials that have a very high polyester count. Pressing onto 100% polyester materials will absorb the most ink from the transfer making the image to most "colorful". Pressing onto 60% or less polyester materials will make the image have a vintage or faded look.
  • Sublimation transfers MUST be heat pressed on the material using a commercial grade heat press with pressure adjustments. You CANNOT use an iron or easy press on these transfers.
  • The transfers MUST be pressed onto light colored materials such as white. You cannot press onto dark colors or black because the color will not show up.
  • Sublimation transfers will have a lighter and faded look to them until actually pressed onto the material. The heat application is what makes the colors come out.
  • WHITE colors do not print with sublimation. Therefor, if there is any white color on the design, it will end up being the color of the material you press it on. Example: A horse image with a white face pressed on a grey shirt. The horses face would be the grey shirt color, NOT white. It is recommended to use these images on white shirts to attain the same "look" to the design.
  • Actual product colors MAY vary slightly from display photo due to device display capabilities and monitor settings. Every print is different and has different color variations, especially in the watercolor graphics. Please be aware of this before purchase as we DO NOT accept returns or exchanges for our products.
  • We are not responsible for transfers that are pressed incorrectly. Please make sure you are using the correct material, color, and press settings prior to pressing your transfer.
  • DO I HAVE A SUBLIMATION TRANSFER?
  • SUBLIMATION TRANSFERS: printed on paper, no “feel” to them, will have “A-Sub” written on the back of the paper
SUBLIMATION HEAT PRESS SETTINGS:
390-400 degrees
Medium-Heavy pressure
60 seconds
  1. Insert parchment or butcher paper between front and back garment
  2. Pre-press garment for 5 second
  3. Place sublimation transfer in desired location
  4. Cover transfer with parchment paper to help prevent ink bleed
  5. Press for 60 seconds at 390-400 degrees and medium/heavy pressure
  6. Hot peel (be careful not to move the transfer while still hot, this can cause "ghosting" of the design) Heat tape is recommended.
NOTE: Each heat press is different. I recommend testing your press at different pressure/temperature/time settings to determine the best press for you!

SCREEN PRINT TRANSFER INFORMATION:

  • We use the highest quality screen printing products. The screen print (plastisol) transfers have been tested and proven to provide the best quality prints onto many types of materials when applied properly.
  • Plastisol heat transfers are essentially a screen printing process that is printed onto a heat transfer release paper instead of an actual garment.
  • They have a slight hand to them, meaning you can feel the transfer on the shirt, similar to vinyl.
  • Our screen print transfers can be pressed onto a variety of materials including: (100% Cotton or Poly/Cotton Blends)
  • Screen print transfers have a full opaque under base. This means that you can use these transfers on ANY COLORED garment and the design will show up without fade.
  • Screen print transfers MUST be heat pressed on the material using a commercial grade heat press. You CANNOT use an iron or easy press on these transfers.
  • DO I HAVE A SCREEN PRINT TRANSFER?
  • SCREEN PRINT TRANSFERS: printed on paper, can “feel” the design, will be blank on the back of the paper (no writing)

DTF TRANSFER INFORMATION:

  • We use the highest quality Direct To Film printing products. The DTF transfers have been tested and proven to provide the best quality prints onto many types of materials when applied properly.
  • DTF transfers are digitally printed onto a heat transfer film.
  • They have a slight hand to them, meaning you can feel the transfer on the shirt, similar to high heat screen print transfers.
  • Our DTF transfers can be pressed onto a variety of materials including: (100% Cotton or Poly/Cotton Blends)
  • DTF transfers have a full opaque white under base. This means that you can use these transfers on ANY COLORED garment and the design will show up without fade.
  • DTF transfers MUST be heat pressed on the material using a commercial grade heat press. You CANNOT use an iron or easy press on these transfers.
